透过使用一个焦距，你再不能利用变焦来轻易改变要拍摄的构图，只有努力自行去寻找拍摄主题、角度，这样能有效令你的脑袋多活动，进而拍摄出更好的作品。通常使用定焦镜是一个好选择，但若果你没有定焦镜，也可以利用胶带固定变焦镜的焦距来拍摄。

另外一个对摄影眼很用有的训练便是去寻找纹理图案来构图，细心一点看，你会发觉四周也是充满著漂亮的几何图形或纹理，利用填充构图方法可以很好地把它们纪录下来，也可以加上其他的构图如对角线、相框构图法等，是一个很容易又有效的训练方法。

(五) 试试替相片「留白」

留白在我国的水墨画很普遍，但要用得其所便需要多练习了！虽然填充构图可以有效地加强张力，但有时适当的留白能让相片充满幻想的空间，艺术感更强烈。
